Booking Policy

Thank you for choosing us to care for your dog! We aim to provide a reliable, professional, and enjoyable service for both you and your four-legged friend. Please take a few moments to read our booking policy before using our services.

Booking Your Walk

Bookings can be made by phone, email or social media. All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once you have received confirmation from us.

Regular weekly walks are prioritised, while ad-hoc bookings are accepted where availability allows.

Meet and Greet

Before your dog's first walk, we offer a free meet and greet. This gives us the opportunity to meet you and your dog, discuss their needs, complete the necessary paperwork, and ensure we're the right fit for each other.

Payment

Payment is due within 7 days of receiving your invoice unless otherwise agreed.

We currently accept:

  • Bank transfer

  • Cash (if agreed in advance)

Late payments may result in future bookings being suspended until payment has been received.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change.

  • More than 48 hours' notice: No cancellation fee.
  • Less than 24 hours' notice: The full cost of the booked service may be charged.

  • If we need to cancel due to illness, emergencies, or unsafe weather conditions, we will offer to rearrange the booking or offer a home visit in place of the walk where possible or provide a refund.

Access to Your Home

If we are entrusted with a key to your property, it will be stored securely and never labelled with your name or address.

Please ensure we have access to your property at the agreed time. If we are unable to gain access, the booked service may still be chargeable.

Your Dog's Health

For the safety of all dogs in our care, owners agree that their dog:

  • Is fit and healthy enough to participate in walks.

  • Is free from contagious illnesses.

  • Receives regular flea, tick, and worm treatments.

  • Has any medical conditions, allergies, or medications disclosed before services begin.

Owners must inform us immediately if their dog's health changes.

Behaviour

Owners must provide honest and accurate information about their dog's behaviour, including any history of aggression, anxiety, reactivity, escaping, or biting.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if a dog's behaviour presents a risk to themselves, other dogs, members of the public, or our staff.

Off-Lead Walking

Dogs will only be walked off lead with the owner's written permission and when it is safe and appropriate to do so.

If we believe it is not safe for your dog to be off lead, we reserve the right to keep them on lead regardless of prior consent.

Group Walks

Where appropriate, dogs may be walked in carefully selected groups with other friendly, compatible dogs.

Group sizes will always comply with current local authority licensing conditions where applicable.

Weather Conditions

Your dog's welfare is our priority.

During periods of extreme heat, severe weather, ice, or storms, walks may be shortened, rescheduled, or replaced with a home visit and enrichment session if it is safer to do so.

Emergencies

In the unlikely event of illness or injury, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you or your emergency contact.

If immediate veterinary treatment is required, we will seek treatment from your nominated veterinary practice or the nearest available veterinary surgery.

Any veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the owner.

Equipment

Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog wears a secure collar or harness and that all equipment provided is suitable and in good condition.

Liability

We are fully insured and will always take every reasonable precaution to ensure your dog's safety.

However, dogs are unpredictable animals, and while every effort is made to minimise risks, walks are undertaken at the owner's risk. We cannot be held responsible for injuries, illnesses, loss, or damage resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including undisclosed behavioural or medical issues.

Changes to Bookings

We will always do our best to accommodate changes to regular bookings, but these cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability.

Data Protection

Your personal information will only be used for providing our services, maintaining records, and contacting you when necessary.

Your information will be stored securely and will never be shared with third parties unless required by law or in an emergency to protect your dog's welfare.

Agreement

By booking our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Booking Policy and that all information you provide about your dog is accurate and up to date.

Thank you for trusting us with your best friend.

We look forward to many happy walks together!
